Like many members, I have found that Golf Towels make some great gifts...and not just for golfers - but for any sport enthusiast in your family. Golf towels with the grommet can be hard to locate, but Vicky Maeder, a member of our HATS list makes her own. Below please find a description of how she does this and some great photos of her work. I fold the hand towel lengthwise in thirds (right-hand third to the back, then left-hand third to the back). I am then left with the center third. I put the grommet through all three layers at the top, about an inch or two from the top. Then the design and name goes at the bottom part of the towel. They are really neat gifts because lots of people golf, and they are both functional and personalized.
