This is a volunteer organized stitch swap circulated through snail mail. It is for Viking/Husqvarna sewing machines - embroidery and standard as well as sergers. Feel free to use any of the designs on this page. We hope that it helps you to take advantage of all the features on your machine not just the non intimidating ones! We are in the process of reorganizing the swap procedures. Thank you for your patience. We will post the changes on the HATS newsgroup. THANK YOU to all who have participated for the past 4 years!!!

The stitch swap is basically a round robin comprised of various individuals who have Viking/Husqvarna sewing machines, sergers, software etc.. The swap is divided into geographical areas and groups of approximately 7 to 8 people. Initially I send a package with a sample to the first people in each of 7 groups to the first person on the list. Once this individual receives the package they may copy what I have included. They will add their sample to the envelope and mail it to the next person on the list. This will continue until the swap package rotates through that group of 7 people. Once it is finished it is returned to me. I compile all the groups samples and then the swaps start again but this time will about 40 to 50 of all the other groups samples. What are the samples? The samples can be an original design or one that you have stitched from a book or in classes. It can involve embroidery, quilting, applique, sewing tips, information on using the various feet, it is really up to you what you wish to share with the group! Why Join the Swap? It is a wonderful way to learn and experience techniques and things to do with your sewing machine that you may not be aware of or just to intimidated to try. You receive wonderful tips and easier ways to do things that you may have been doing for years!

Thank you for taking your time to view the Stitch Swap Site! If you have questions, please email me.
