How to fix problems with your file association,
by Anne Pyle
Sometimes the "file association," which is what allows
Windows to open files directly, has changed or gets changed. You no longer have
the program which the old file association referred to. The fix is easy. There
are several ways of doing this, but here is my favorite. The instructions look
more complicated than they really are. It's a snap!

1.
Double click on My Computer on your desktop. |
2.
Single click on the c: drive and then click on view on the menu bar. |
3.
Near the bottom of the menu which will open is "options." Click on this. |
4.
A window will open which has three tabs. Click on the one which says "file types." |
5.
Scroll down the list of file types until you find your .hus files and single click on this. |
6.
Then click on the button on the right of that window which says "edit." |
7.
Find the line which has the path to customizing. Delete this path and click on browse. |
8.
Find your customize.exe file in your Husq folder and click on it. |
9.
The full path to this file will then be shown on the line under file types. |
10.
Click apply (if that's one of the options) and ok and close it out. |
11.
The next time you double click a .hus file, Windows will open customizing for you. |
